SupStack is an experimental, beta-stage research support tool that organizes publicly available supplement research from sources like PubMed. It is a project by Baher Alhakim, designed to help adults explore evidence-based supplement information. SupStack is in the process of being established as a non-profit association (Verein) in Austria. Until registration is complete, it is operated by Baher Alhakim as an individual.
SupStack is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. It is an informational reference tool only.
Using SupStack does not create a doctor-patient, healthcare provider, advisor-client, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship between you and SupStack or its operator. No duty of care arises from your use of the service.
SupStack is in active development. By using it you acknowledge that:
We provide the service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
All information on SupStack is for informational purposes only. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before making decisions based on it. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or medication.
Interaction data, safety warnings, and dosage ranges are compiled from published research but may be incomplete, outdated, or not applicable to your individual situation.
By using SupStack, you expressly acknowledge and assume all risks associated with acting on information found on the site, including any health-related decisions. You agree that SupStack bears no responsibility for outcomes resulting from your interpretation or use of any information provided.
SupStack is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
You may create an account using a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We may delete inactive accounts or reset data during beta development.
Health profile information you provide (goals, conditions, medications) is used exclusively as a filter — it narrows the existing information on the site to what is relevant to you, similar to a refined search. It does not generate new content, clinical assessments, or individualized recommendations. This data is not used for clinical decision-making and is not shared with third parties, except as necessary for AI-powered features described in the Privacy Policy.
The experiment feature lets you self-track supplement experiences over time. These are personal self-assessments, not clinical trials. Experiment verdicts are generated from your self-reported data and are not clinical assessments. They do not constitute medical advice or diagnosis.
You agree not to:
SupStack aggregates and displays information from third-party sources, including PubMed abstracts, published research data, and publicly available supplement information. We do not control, verify, or endorse the accuracy of third-party content. SupStack is not responsible for errors, omissions, or changes in third-party data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SupStack, its operator, and any future associated entity shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, service interruptions, or reliance on any information provided.
You use SupStack entirely at your own risk. This is an experimental project and should be treated accordingly.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SupStack, its operator (Baher Alhakim), and any future associated entity from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these terms; (c) any health-related decisions you make based on information found on SupStack; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
SupStack's interface, design, and original content are the property of SupStack. Study data and abstracts are sourced from PubMed and remain the property of their respective publishers. Supplement information is compiled from publicly available research.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of SupStack shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Vienna, Austria.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The failure of SupStack to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision shall be effective only if in writing and signed by SupStack.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SupStack regarding your use of the service. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination of your account or these terms shall survive, including but not limited to: No Professional Relationship (§2), Your Responsibility to Verify & Assumption of Risk (§4), Limitation of Liability (§10), Indemnification (§11), Intellectual Property (§12), Governing Law & Jurisdiction (§13), and this Survival clause.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. SupStack may assign these terms — in whole or in part — to any successor entity, including the SupStack Verein once registered, without notice or consent. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void.
These terms are drafted in English. If any translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of SupStack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on the What's New page.
