Hydroxyapatite (MCHC) and Zinc can interact. In postmenopausal women an extra 468 mg calcium a day as calcium phosphate cut net zinc absorption by about 2 mg/day, and 600 mg calcium carbonate taken with a meal halved zinc absorption from it. Take zinc between meals and hydroxyapatite with meals, at least 2 hours apart.
